Roofing & Storm Damage FAQs

Answers about hidden roof damage, free inspections, insurance claims, deductibles and StormCore’s storm response coverage.

Can I wait to see if my roof starts leaking?

A leak is not the only sign of damage. Hail and wind can affect roofing materials before water becomes visible inside. An inspection gives you information now, without requiring you to commit to a repair or claim.

Will my insurance premium go up if I file a storm claim?

There is no universal answer. Rating and renewal practices depend on your insurer, policy and applicable law. Regional losses may also affect rates. Ask your carrier or licensed insurance agent how a claim could affect your particular policy; we do not promise that premiums will stay the same.

How do I know whether I actually have storm damage?

An inspection can document visible roofing and exterior conditions. You should not have to climb onto your roof or guess from the driveway. We explain the findings so you can decide what to do next.

Do I have to file a claim after the inspection?

No. You decide whether to pursue a claim or move forward with work. A free inspection does not obligate you to hire StormCore.

Will my roof cost only my deductible?

That cannot be promised. Policy limits, exclusions, depreciation, upgrades and non-covered work can affect your cost. Your deductible remains your responsibility; StormCore does not pay, waive or rebate it.

Does StormCore negotiate my insurance claim?

No. We document physical damage and explain the construction scope. At your request, we can discuss those findings with your adjuster. We do not represent you, negotiate claims or determine coverage.

Does every inspection include a drone?

Drone imagery and physical inspections are used when appropriate. Access, weather, roof condition, flight restrictions and safety affect the inspection method.

Where does StormCore provide roofing service?

We respond to storm damage across the United States. Availability depends on your property location, local requirements, and crew scheduling.

How quickly can someone come out?

Contact StormCore to discuss availability, especially for an active leak. Weather, safety and scheduling affect timing. A form request is not a confirmed appointment or emergency dispatch.
